Previously attached to the Royal Malaysian Police, Mr. Subramaniam Nair was largely involved in the commercial crimes department. He spearheaded the criminal investigation and prosecution divisions in his time in the police force from 1979 to 1987. He then pursued a Law degree in London and chambered under the esteemed guidance of Mr K Sila Dass, of Messers K Sila Dass & partners.
Mr Subramaniam Nair is vastly experienced and regularly represents both individuals and corporate clients, in complex criminal, corporate and civil matters. With his criminal investigation background, Mr Subramaniam's expertise are in criminal litigation specifically commercial crime matters, drug offences and unlawful dismissals of government servants.
Mr Subramaniam Nair's versatility and in-depth knowledge as a criminal litigator extends to handling environmental and preventive detention matters
With over 38 years of experience in the legal front, Mr. Subramaniam has established himself as a leading litigator on the Malaysian legal scene.

Having chambered under Mr V Arunachalam of Messers Sault & Co, Mr Visvanathan leads the Civil department of Maniam Nair & Co, namely Negligence and Accident Claims. Mr Visvanathan also undertakes matters with regard to winding up, insolvency and the Law of Contract.
With over 20 years in practice, Mr Vishvanthan is a senior partner of Maniam Nair & Co and manages the Segamat branch office.
